HURRICANE TRACKING SYSTEM

to download a terrific hurricane tracking system offered by the local Cape Coral, Florida NBC TV affiliate Wink TV.

Click on the above link and follow the prompts for up-to-date information on current and previous storms with links to NOAA information on other hurricane related subjects.

While this is a fantastic site it doesn't give you what HURRICANE FINDER can and when the electricity goes off you'll have no saved data unless you've ordered one of these simple devices.  Don't wait until its too late.  Prepare for the future and know where the wind is forecasted to come from and its speed right at your front door days in advance.  Be able to plan an evacuation if that creek meandering past your child's swing set may be flooded as storm surge can be predicted by the wind's direction.  Know where to park your car or plan your evacuation if predicted conditions make your home vulnerable.

HURRICANE FINDER may save your life when electronics fail.

When the electricity fails be able to track the storm with only a compass and simple procedures outlined in HURRICANE FINDER'S instruction manual.  Be prepared.  Self reliance is a good thing.  Don't wait until the bogey man comes out of the bedroom closet.

The hurricane season is heating up as Hurricane Dean lumbers down on the Yucatan and beyond to its destiny, perhaps Texas, or some other Gulf coast locality.  Maybe even here in Florida.  NEREIS and I are ready.  Are you?

Take care,
