RIO DULCE REVISITED
ALWAYS WATCHING
Those of you who've been here before know that I spent several years on the Rio Dulce in Guatemala and often speak of experiences there, some chronicled in TILLER TALES, excerpts on the stories page elsewhere on this site.
In an e-mail received today from Jim Hupe a former dock-mate on the Rio and elsewhere in the Caribbean he included the following address for The Crow Bar, a familiar river-side establishment known to many. That address includes several others including that of the Rio Dulce Chisme Vindicator an on-line newspaper that will bring you back even if you've never been.
Visit this eclectic site and experience an expatriate view of life done by some really talented people. I guarantee one dose wont be enough.
